Delivery Driver

As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for loading items safely and efficiently onto the vehicle and delivering the items to our customers in a timely and professional manner, following assigned routes and ETA’s.

Your duties involve conducting an inspection of the vehicle before and after trips, checking deliveries with customers to ensure orders are correct and accepted by the customer, loading, and unloading heavy crates from your vehicle and use of clever technology to record accurate delivered orders and updating of tracker device to inform customers of your ETA. To succeed as a driver, you should be polite, professional, and prompt with a commitment to providing the best service to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conducting vehicle checks/inspections using our technology
Count and verify all orders before leaving the warehouse
Loading and delivering orders to different customers within set ETAs
Professional interaction with customers – helpful, polite, and professional at all times
Ensuring that customers have the correct delivery and unloading into the customer/s designated area
Loading, unloading, and delivering orders safely and efficiently
Using our technology to record when orders have been delivered and crediting items where required
Coordinate with management and other departments ensuring customer satisfaction
Inspect crates appearance to ensure they are good enough to present for delivery to customers
Maintaining vehicle - reporting issues to the relevant person/s as soon as they arise
Listening to any customer complaints and reporting back to the relevant team to resolve
Collecting empty crates where required
Maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle
Fuelling the vehicle when required

Willingness to adhere to schedule and safety procedure

Essential Experience

Must be properly licensed to drive vehicles – Full UK driving license
Experience in a similar work environment would be an advantage

Warehouse Operative

As a warehouse operative you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets.

Picking and packing products can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching, and lifting. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body.

Stores the right number of materials, goods, and products in the right location to feed the business’s operational and customer demand. Ensures the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods, and products to feed business operations and customer demand.

Duties and Responsibilities

Picking/Out loading and Packing tasks whilst ensuring all picking targets for self and the shift are achieved daily
Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of orders meets customer’s timescales/requirements
Complete QC when required
Ensure stock is rotated accurately
Attention to detail when completing tasks especially the short life stock lines
Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company’s procedures and requirements
Ensure you pay a part in ensuring a safe working environment
Ensure that internal delivery processes are adhered to support dispatch time windows
Ensure all discrepancies are notified to supervisor
Place completed orders in relevant marshalling/outbound containers
Load up to ten vans per night
Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately via the tablets
Follow the site clean as you go policy
 Labelling goods that have arrived or orders to be dispatched
Ensure drivers returns are processed correctly
Assist shift supervisor with management of shorts process
To ensure productivity targets of 97.5% is achieved for picking/Packing and put away
Locate stock items within the warehouse
Record and communicate all shortage issues to the relevant parties
Available for stock takes three times per year

Other responsibilities
To clock in/out at the correct times via the App
To assist with buddy training when required
Flexible working as when required to meet customer/operational demand
To complete other duties as seen reasonable by your shift supervisor/Manager

Skills and Attributes:

Experience of operating in a Goods in environment within a fast paced, highly pressurised warehouse and distribution environment
Able to operate FLT or & Flexi trucks

Experience:
Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Fork Lift Truck License (preferred)
